A Schleich collection rarely starts big. It usually starts with a horse, or a paddock, or a small accessory pack — and grows, set by set, into a proper play world. What follows is a look at the playsets currently in our Schleich Playsets collection, grouped by how they're actually used, so you can see what fits where your child's collection is now.
Starting small: accessories and add-ons
Not every purchase needs to be a big stable. Several sets in the range are built to add detail to horses and figures a child already owns:

The bulk of the range is built around Horse Club — the world of stables, riders and horses that most Schleich collections grow into. Each set adds a different piece of that routine:
Sofia's Horse Wash gives a horse somewhere to be washed down after a ride, complete with rider and accessories — a small, contained set that suits a child just starting a Horse Club collection.
Pony Agility Training is built for arena play: jumps, obstacles and training equipment for a child who wants their horses doing something more structured than standing in a stable.
Horse Box with Mare and Foal includes a mare and foal alongside a horse box — a set that works both as transport play and as a way to grow a collection with young horses.
Open Stable Little Horseshoe is a proper stable base — the kind of set a first stable purchase tends to be, with room to add horses and accessories over time.
Tack Room Extension is exactly what it says: built to extend an existing stable rather than stand alone, with a rider figure and storage for saddles and grooming kit.
Horse Shop adds a different kind of play to the collection — a place to shop for tack and supplies, rather than another stable.
Happy Horse Hospital is the most detailed of the Horse Club sets here: a fold-out equine clinic with an X-ray machine and operating table in the surgery, a roof compartment stocked with bandages, a stethoscope and a syringe, and a horse box with a drinking trough for the patient. The whole thing folds down into a carry case, so it travels as easily as it plays.
Horse Adventures with Car and Trailer is built for taking horses out and about — a car and trailer set for a child whose play has grown beyond the stable yard.
Together, these sets are designed to sit alongside each other. A child who starts with the Open Stable Little Horseshoe can add the Tack Room Extension, the Horse Wash and the Happy Horse Hospital over successive birthdays, and the collection grows as one connected stable yard rather than a shelf of unrelated toys.
Beyond the stable: Farm World and wildlife rescue
Not every Schleich playset is about horses. A few sets in the range take the same attention to detail into other play worlds:
Goat Stable is a Farm World set built around a goat and her kid, with a stable, feeding accessories, and play equipment including a seesaw and a tyre for climbing. It's a smaller, gentler set than the Horse Club stables — a good fit for a younger child, or a first stable purchase for a family building a wider farm collection.
Feeding Forest Animals, Ranger Adventure Station, Animal Rescue Large Truck and Off-Road Adventure Jungle move away from the stable yard entirely, into rescue and ranger-led play with wild animals. These suit a child more interested in animal care and adventure than horses specifically, and work well alongside Schleich's wild animal figures.
Choosing where to start
If your child already has horses, an Open Stable or Sofia's Horse Wash is usually the natural next step. If they're newer to animal figures generally, the Goat Stable is a gentler, smaller starting point.
